Located at 5474 NS-289, Upper Stewiacke, NS B0N 2P0, this little gem is diner that we will surely be visiting again. We didn’t have much, as we weren’t very hungry, so we shared a clubhouse, and we each ordered a slice of pie for desert. Bowman ordered Lemon Meringue, and I ordered Coconut Cream. Originally, Bowman wasn’t supposed to have any of the clubhouse because, well….. he’s a wee bit fussy, and not a fan of tomatoes (neither am I really, but I’m getting better). After I had my first quarter, I was in love. This was the best clubhouse I have ever tried. So, me being me, I make him try a quarter, and I help myself to another quarter as well. As I’m taking a few notes, Bowman speaks up, “Are you going to finish that?” It really was awesome!
The pies….. the pies were pretty darned good too. As a kid, I didn’t really enjoy pies because I hated the crust. I’ve since learned to tolerate it so I can have some slices here and there. The crust at Bev’s was perfect!! It was thinner than most, and actually flaky. And the coconut cream pie had roasted coconut on top. OMG it was good!! So, not only did I have the best Clubhouse ever at Bev’s, the same rings true with the Coconut Cream Pie. Bowman’s Lemon Meringue, it was delicious too. Same amazing crust, and the sweet tang of lemon. Loved it

The only reason I did not give the Clubhouse a 10/10 is because I thought the bread could have been bigger. Its overall surface area seemed small. That being said, we have already decided to go back again, this time Bowman has already requested his own Club Sandwich
